Sam belts up Macy's shoulders, arms, and feet, while she stands on the gallows next to warden Debbie D. Sam places the noose tightly around Macy's neck, and Debbie reads out the sentence. Afterwards, Macy begs for her life, but Sam hangs her anyway. Macy drops, but her neck does not break, and she is made to strangle slowly at the end of the rope. Macy's tongue protrudes, and she struggles against the rope, but her efforts are all in vain. When she stops moving, Debbie checks her heart with a stethoscope and confirms that the sentence was carried out. Sam removes Macy's bonds, and the noose, then carries her body away.
